PHOTO EXHIBITIONS IN THE MIDLAND HOTEL (October 2023)

On 22nd October we opened two photo exhibitions where we invited guests and residents of Morecambe.

"Kubrick" photo exhibition by Norrie Maclaren who worked with the legendary Kubrick on his film sets 50 years ago, showcased the unique images never published before! Our guests discovered a captivating journey through time and immersed yourself in the world of cinematic history and personal connections that unfolded through the lens.

In addition, we proudly presented the winners of a local photo competition celebrating the "Best Morecambe Bay photo," adding a local touch to this cinematic showcase. 27 best photos showcasing the beauty of Morecambe Bay - the result of 7 months photo competition we were running for local photographers.

The opening event 22 October was complimented by networking of the attending photographers and light refreshments provided by the festival. Hundreds of visitors joined us for a visual experience that bridged the gap between the iconic and the everyday, celebrating the art of storytelling through photography. The exhibitions were free to attend for 7 days.
