OPENING NIGHT - Friday 23 January 

A special evening celebrating our town's rich entertainment heritage with rare screenings and exclusive filmmaker discussions that every Morecambe audience will love.

NORTHERN DAY - Saturday 24 January 

Discover the rising stars of Northern filmmaking with professional workshops, award-winning short films, and an indie feature showcase, culminating in a red carpet awards ceremony presenting Best Northern Film and Best Local Community Film awards, plus networking opportunities for creative minds across the region.

FAMILY FUN SUNDAY - Sunday 25 January 

A magical day for all ages featuring family-friendly screenings, hands-on stop-motion workshops for young creators, and beloved animation classics that spark imagination.

COMMUNITY FILM CLUBS - Wednesday 28 & Thursday 29 January 

Intimate evenings of carefully curated short films followed by warm discussions over tea and biscuits - the perfect introduction to independent cinema in welcoming community spaces.

INTERNATIONAL WEEKEND - Friday 30 January & Saturday 31 January 

An exciting surprise guest feature film, thought-provoking film forum on mental health in the film industry, diverse short film showcases, plus free workshops for both filmmakers and general audiences, and exclusive networking events.

GRAND FINALE - Saturday 1 February 

Celebrate the festival's incredible journey with our prestigious awards ceremony, final screenings, and community celebration.

All events feature post-screening discussions, many with visiting filmmakers. Free and low-cost tickets are available as always.
