Following the success of The Bay International Film Festival 2024, we're delighted to present our summer sister fest - Bay Short Film Festival - a carefully curated selection of some of the best films from our winder edition, touring around the stunning Morecambe Bay area.
This intimate weekend celebration brings exceptional independent cinema directly to communities across the bay, featuring 22 outstanding short films spanning every genre from dark comedy and magical realism to cutting-edge animation and period drama.
Saturday 21 June - Roxy Cinema, Ulverston (1pm)
1pm - Eight distinctive films featuring stories from rain-soaked Manchester to mythical Iceland, plus live Q&A sessions with filmmakers.
5pm - The day continues with a networking event for Northern filmmakers at the iconic Laurel & Hardy Museum.
Sunday 22 June - Signal Films, Barrow-in-Furness
1.30pm - Eight captivating narrative films and a special Animation feast showcasing six beautiful animated works. Join us for filmmaker Q&As and a networking session designed for Barrow's young creative community and industry professionals eager to collaborate with emerging talent.
